How to Read This Blog

If you’re a late-comer to a blog that is really a travelogue, a story,

After 818 kilometers, Inge and Cameron arrive in Santiago de Compostela

then the latest-post-first format of blogs really doesn’t work very well.  Better to begin at the beginning, no?

Mom’s Training.  Begin with Mom, in Colorado, after surgery to remove her second tumor, as she describes her training and gives recipes, starting with “Instead of Chemo, I’m Walking the Camino” or “Musings of the Son as the Mother Lies in Hospital”.  Then just keep clicking the right arrow at the top of the page to advance in time.

The Walk.  Begin in Europe, as the Camino commences, with “Lisbon, Part 1 of 2″.

Highlights

Here are blog posts about three of the highlights of the Camino, and all three come with high-definition video.  Tissues are recommended.

The Grieving Tenor in Los Arcos (with video)

Mom at the Cruz de Ferro, the Iron Cross, Part 1 (Cameron version, with video) and Part 2

Mom’s Version:  The Cruz de Ferro

Mom Reaches Santiago, and Gets a Surprise (video)

Video

We have a Camino de Santiago video channel on YouTube.  We’re looking for help editing all these clips together with the photos into a DVD — with music and voice-over.
